Description
CADORO VELVET is a decorative paint for wall finishes with velvet effect, suitable to recreate refined interior settings. The delicate reflections given by iridescent microbrillants and the soft and velvety shading that CADORO VELVET allows to be created, are ideal to embellish and enhance both classical and modern style contexts.Ideal for decorating walls and ceilings, CADORO can be applied on new or old plasters and concrete, plaster or gympsumboard surfaces, guaranteeing a pleasant, smooth and silky appearance and a soft feel.CADORO VELVET is a decorative water-based and ready-to-use decorative finish. It can be applied with brush and trowel to give various aesthetic effects, and soft shadings to meet every style requirement.Available in a wide range of palette colors from light and bright tones to warmer ones that recall the earth hues, and emphasize the nuances of the product.When the work is finished, use water to clean the tools.
Application
- Suitable substrates
Suitable for interior application on:
New and old plasters based on hydraulic binders. Concrete surfaces. Gypsum and plasterboard surfaces. Old paints and wall coatings of organic or mineral origin, provided they are dry, sound, absorbent and firmly adhered. Mineral conglomerates of various types, provided they have absorbent properties. Surfaces must be properly prepared in accordance with the procedure described in the section “SURFACE PREPARATION”.
Newly plastered surfaces must be allowed to dry completely for four weeks.

- Method
Apply CADORO VELVET to the dry surface using a brush or a plastic or stainless-steel trowel, distributing the material evenly over the surface.
After the first coat has dried, apply a second coat of CADORO VELVET using a plastic or stainless-steel trowel, working in circular motions in opposite directions to create a velvety pattern on the surface.

Drying time (at +25°C and 65% relative humidity): touch dry after 1 hour; suitable for recoating after 6 hours.
