Description
MARCOPOLO is a decorative paint for interiors that lets you create light surfaces having a textured raw-metal effect.Ideal for decorating walls and ceilings, MARCOPOLO can be applied on new or old plasters and concrete, plaster or gypsumboard surfaces.Its formulation, enriched with special pearlescent pigments, gives surfaces a rough yet particularly brilliant appearance, with color effects that vary depending on the angle of reflected light.MARCOPOLO is the ideal finish to harmonize contexts with old period furniture, or to customize modern hi-tech design.MARCOPOLO is a ready-to-use decorative water-based paint that goes on easily with a brush while finishing with a sponge gives various visual effects depending on the decorator's imagination and technique.MARCOPOLO combines a high decorative value with a high durability.Available in a wide range of palette colors.When the work is finished, use water to dilute the product or clean the tools.
Application
- Suitable substrates
The product is suitable for application on interior surfaces:
New and old water-based plaster. Concrete surfaces. Gypsum and plasterboard surfaces. Surfaces with old paint of mineral or organic origin, provided they are dry, sound, firm, absorbent and properly prepared. Various mineral building compounds, provided they are absorbent. Surfaces must be properly prepared in accordance with the procedure described in the section “SURFACE PREPARATION.”
Do not apply to damp or insufficiently dried surfaces.

- Method
Apply MARCOPOLO to the dry substrate using a brush, either in a defined vertical or horizontal direction, or randomly with semicircular strokes. Before MARCOPOLO dries on the surface, work the product using either:
a brush, maintaining the selected vertical (horizontal) direction or using crosswise movements to create a “fabric-like” texture; a soft, damp sponge to create areas of product accumulation from the semicircular, random strokes, ensuring that these areas are distributed evenly across the entire wall surface. The characteristic decorative effect becomes visible once the material has dried completely.

Drying time (at +25 °C and 65% relative humidity): surface dry after 1 hour.
